This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used when you visit JobFixe. Read it with our Privacy Policy for information about recipients, purposes, and your rights.
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files that a website or service stores in your browser. Local storage also saves information on your device but does not automatically expire in the same way as a cookie. Third-party services can receive technical information through network requests even when no cookie is stored.
2. Website Functions and Security
WordPress can use cookies for administrator login and authenticated sessions. Ordinary job browsing does not require a job-seeker account. Security and hosting services may use necessary technologies to deliver the website or prevent abuse.
The contact form uses temporary server-side anti-spam records. These are not browser cookies. Their expiry does not delete messages already delivered by email.
3. Map Appearance
JobFixe uses the local-storage key jobfixe-map-dark to remember your choice of map appearance. This preference remains in that browser until you change it or clear the site’s local storage. It is not an employer application record.
Map images are requested from OpenStreetMap tile services. Those requests expose technical information to the map provider. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
4. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is enabled to help us understand visits and use of the website. It can use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. The exact cookies and their expiry depend on Google’s service and configuration.
You can use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. See Google’s explanation of data from partner websites for additional controls.
5. Google AdSense and Advertising
Google AdSense is enabled on JobFixe. Google and its advertising partners may use first-party or third-party cookies, identifiers, and similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization. Ads may be based on previous visits to this or other websites, depending on settings and applicable choices.
Manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center. Other participating ad providers may offer separate controls. Disabling personalized ads does not necessarily remove all ads or prevent storage needed for other advertising purposes. Cookie names and lifetimes vary by provider and configuration.
6. Managing Your Choices
- Use your browser’s settings to inspect, block, or delete cookies, including third-party cookies.
- Clear JobFixe’s site data or local storage to remove the saved map appearance preference.
- Use the Google controls linked above to manage personalization or supported Analytics collection.
- If an advertising consent message is presented, review its purposes and providers and use its available options to change your choices.
Consent requirements for non-essential cookies and related data processing depend on applicable law and your location. Browser controls and provider opt-outs are separate from any consent choices presented on the website. If you need help finding or changing a choice, contact us.
Blocking storage can affect some features. Clearing cookies may also reset previously saved choices. Private browsing does not prevent every website request or all collection by external services.
7. Updates and Contact
We may revise this policy when our services or providers change. Questions can be sent through our contact form or to contact@jobfixe.com.
