A remote label tells you about the working arrangement. It does not, by itself, show that an employer accepts applications from every country. Before applying, check the complete original listing and the employer’s application page.
Read the location requirements carefully
On JobFixe, use the country and workplace filters to narrow your search, then open the listing. Look for eligible locations, time-zone expectations, travel requirements, and any stated restrictions. Country-level map positions are approximate and should not be treated as office addresses.
If the description and application page give different information, ask the employer to clarify before proceeding. JobFixe aggregates listings and does not decide whether an applicant meets the employer’s requirements.
Follow the original application route
The Apply button takes you to the source listed for the vacancy. Check that the employer name, role, and destination make sense. You can also find the employer’s careers page independently and look for the same opening there.
Do not rely solely on a familiar logo or a convincing message. The FTC warns that scammers can impersonate employers and use fake jobs to seek money or personal information.
Recognize common warning signs
FTC guidance highlights demands for payment to get a job, fake-check schemes, and offers that ask you to deposit a check and send part of the money elsewhere. Do not send money, buy gift cards, or transfer funds in response to those instructions. Verify unexpected recruiter messages through contact details you find independently.
Be cautious about requests for sensitive information before you have verified the employer and the purpose of the request. If you suspect a scam, stop the interaction and use the FTC’s official reporting guidance linked below. JobFixe cannot authenticate every message sent by someone claiming to represent an employer.
Keep a record of your own application
A simple private checklist can include the job title, original employer URL, application date, stated location, and the contact route you verified. This helps you compare later messages with what you actually applied for.
The Save job button on JobFixe keeps a shortcut in your browser on that device. It does not submit an application, send your resume, or verify that a listing is still open. Recheck the employer’s page when you return.
Report a questionable listing
Use Report this listing on a JobFixe job page to open the contact form with the job selected. Describe the concern and include the relevant URL. Avoid including identity documents, bank details, or other sensitive information in the report.
